Tryst ’09 was organized from 28–29 March 2009. The structure and scope of Tryst was reduced dramatically in 2009. Only freshers were allowed to organize and conduct competitions, and no senior was involved in any of the administrative and other tasks. Also, external participation in the events was banned and only students of IIT Delhi itself could participate.
Various events like Aero-modeling and Open Challenge were successfully organized and conducted. With a healthy participation from IIT Delhi students, TRYST 2009, although a small affair, was a success.
